Sally B. Williams, age 73, died on Friday, January 13, 2017 at her Jackson residence.
She was born in Jackson, TN on October 27, 1943 the daughter of the late James Alvin and Nellie Scott Gilliand. Sally was a retired educator with the Jackson-Madison County School System with over thirty years of service. She was a Loving mother and a caregiver to many. She was a member of West Jackson Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, DeAnna Vargas and husband Rodrigo of Arlington, TN; her sons, David Dane Williams and wife Penny of Bolton, TN and Eric Williams of Oakfield, TN; her brother, Jerry Gilliand and wife Barb of Burnsville, MN and eight grandchildren, Zachary Williams, Alexa Williams, Hunter Williams, Tyler Williams, Sophie Claire Williams, Noah Williams, Hannah Vargas and Kohlton Vargas.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Ken Hartley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers to serve will be Dane Williams, Eric Williams, Zachary Williams, Hunter Williams, Tyler Williams and Noah Williams.
The family is receiving friends on Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
