Sadie Mae ClaySadie Mae Clay, 79 of Minor Hill, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center, in Columbia, Tennessee. Mrs. Clay was born on April 16th,1944, in Powell, Alabama, to Adron D. Mewbourn and Eula Mae Randolph Mewbourn.

Mrs. Clay is survived by her husband Jimmy Clay Sr.; daughters Beverly Morrison and Tina Morrison; sons Steve Morrison (Sheri) and Jimmy Clay, Jr. (Tabatha); 11 grandchildren Joshua, Alex, Matt, Grace, Jeremy, Nick, Sara, Alexandria, Haley, Brady and Shelby; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Ronnie Mewbourn (Diann); nieces Mandy Marbutt (Barry) and Myra Linnhoff (Michael); nephew Michael Mewbourn (April); 2 great-nieces; and 2 great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clay will be Friday, February 16th, 2024, at 11:00am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Mark Johnson and Ron Owens officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 15th, from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hester’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve, Jimmy, Charlie, Jeremy, Nick, Josh, Alex, and Brady.

Mrs. Clay was a loving wife, mother, Mema and Ol’ Auntie. She was a proud American, retired R.N. and loved to volunteer, enjoyed gardening, photography, and kissing babies’ feet. She enjoyed traveling. She was a devout Christian and a member of Salem Church of Christ.
