Sadie Mae Acklin, 99, died Monday, Nov. 3, 2014. The public viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke United Methodist Episcopal Church, Sheffield, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.
