TUSCUMBIASaddleUp4Kids.org says this, “Since 1996, Gardiner Farms, Tuscumbia AL, has hosted the Saddle up for St. Jude Benefit trail ride. Coordinated by Circle 5 outfit. this is a fun, family-oriented, fund-raising event, that is based around horseback riding and raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This wonderful, annual event takes place the 3rd weekend of July.”

And this past weekend was no exception. Colbert County Commissioner, Dr. Jimmy Gardiner opens up his beautiful spread of camping space, riding trails and music stage every year to raise money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. It has, for over 25 years, been one of the largest fundraising events of it’s kind.

The Quad Cities Daily was on hand Saturday to take a look at the event, and we came back with some really nice EVENT PHOTOS. They were taken around the time of the charity auction, which every year raises tens of thousands of Dollars for St. Jude’s.
