Ryland O’Neal Calvert, 13, of Tuscumbia, passed away on March 26, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Ryland was a native and lifelong resident of Colbert County. He attended Gateway Church in Russellville and was a member of AAU Track and Field and Turbo Elite Track Club. He loved track, football, and basketball. Ryland had the biggest heart and loved everyone. He never met a stranger. His greatest accomplishment was being his mother’s keeper. Their bond is unbreakable, even in death. Ryland was preceded in death by his grandfather, Logan Calvert; his two great-grandfathers, Roger Wagnon and Johnny Walker; and great-grandparents, James and Mary Wooten and Bobby and Sarah Calvert.
He is survived by his parents, Tiffany and Jon Calvert; grandparents, Sherry “Honey” Willis, Johnny and Donna Wagnon – his Nonnie and Nonna, Pat and Lisa Wagnon, and Linda and Darrell Poole; his great-grandmothers, Mary Walker and Gladys McNatt; sisters, Jaiden Calvert and Kylee Calvert; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; other family members; friends; and his best boy, Cork.
