Ryan Pertile, age 29, left this world too soon on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, in Columbia, Tennessee.
Ryan was born on February 17, 1993, to his loving parents, Scott and Colleen Pertile.
Ryan from a young age, enjoyed hockey. He was dedicated to the sport and always had a wonderful time playing the sport. Along with hockey, he also enjoyed skateboarding and fishing and just being outside. After high school, he went on to the join on The United States Army. He served his country with pride. He went on a tour in Afghanistan. Once back home from the military, he was honored at Chicago Blackhawks game.
Ryan loved his family with everything he had. He enjoyed attending concerts and festivals with his sisters, Mary and Erin. The most recent being CMA fest. He also enjoyed all the animals he interacted with, especially his black cat and dog, Stella and Mitch. He was also a 3rd degree knight for the Knights of Columbus along with his father.
Ryan was an amazing and godly young man that would light up the room with his smile. His family and friends will miss this special young man.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A service for Ryan will be on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Catholic Church of the Nativity in Thompson’s Station. Ryan will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Ryan will be reunited with his grandparents: Bill and Betty Kellum; uncles: Rick Kellum, Tim Kellum, and Gary Schwarm.
Ryan leaves behind his legacy in his parents: Scott and Colleen Pertile; sisters: Mary and Erin Pertile; grandparents: Bob and Betty Pertile; uncle: Mark Pertile (Maureen) Bill Kellum (Cindy); aunts: Cindy Schwarm, Anna Kellum, and Penny Kellum.
Post 19 will be rendering military honors at Polk Memorial Gardens.
Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
