  RW Ingram died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 in Huntsville. He was 87. The oldest of nine children, Dub, Junior or Daddy – depending on how you knew him – was born Aug. 23, 1932 to Raymond and Helen Taylor Ingram and spent most of his life in North Alabama with the exception of a two-year stint in the Army at Fort Meade in Maryland. He married Juanita Camper, his wife of 69 years, in 1951. RW worked 45 years at General Shale Brick and retired as the superintendent and served the community as a 32-degree Mason, a Shriner and a life-long member of Esther Chapel in Huntsville.

He’s survived by his wife, daughters Judy (Steve) Stinson, Charron (Steve) Gable and son, Edward Ingram; brothers, Belvie (Shirley), Bobby (Diane), and Tendel (Betty), and sisters Joann (Bobby) Camper and June Wunsch; along with five grandchildren, Jonathan (Anna) Stinson, Daniel (Jada) Stinson, Jessie (Ryan) Harbin, Carol Ann and Katie Ingram and one great-grandson, Charlie and great-granddaughter, Adley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rose Shaneyfelt, and brothers Ricky and Nicky.

Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home with a graveside service and burial to follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens at 11:30 a.m.
