Ruthann Mentzer Laymon, age 80 of Huntsville, died Monday. She was born in Yates Center Kansas, to Harley Wells Mentzer and Winifred McCormick Mentzer, and moved to Huntsville in 1960. She worked at Avex Electronics until retirement in 1994.
Mrs. Laymon is survived by her four children, Cassandra Sims & husband Jerry, Stephanie Hubbard & husband Doug, Christina Laymon, & Mark Laymon & wife Jeanne, Four grandchildren, Holly Noles & husband Tim, Bradley Hubbard, Lauren Laymon, and Stephen Laymon, and great-granddaughter, Abby Clair Noles.
The family is being assisted by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. A memorial service will be held, Friday at 2:00 PM at Calvary Chapel Madison County, with Pastor Don Hawkins officiating.
