, age 96, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the Lauderdale County School System, and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Loretto, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert A. and Pearl McAfee Williams; her husband, Dennis Alton Moore; one son-in-law, David Prince; one daughter, Jacqueline Barnett; one brother, S. B. Williams; one sister, Etta Fine; and one grandson, Danny Prince.
She is survived by three daughters, Millie Meyer (Tommy) of Loretto, TN, Cherry Prince of Florence, AL, and Cindy Young (Eric) of Columbia, TN; one step-daughter, Linda Pittman of IN; five grandchildren, Kerry Williams, Greg Meyer (Maria), Julie Jones, Lane Smith (Ken), and Lindsey Estes (Chase); fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with James Prince officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Methodist Cemetery in Leoma, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Center Point Methodist Cemetery Fund.
