Ruth Simmons Byrd, age 93, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Coffee County, TN, retired beautician/cook, and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mamie Pratt Simmons; her husband, Charles Byrd; one son, Dale Pedigo; one grandson Chris Pedigo; one half-sister; and one half-brother.
She is survived by

Betty Ann Rumple, San Diego, CA
Ten Grandchildren
Fifteen Great-Grandchildren
Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Kidd Cemetery at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2013 with Bobbie Martin officiating.
