Ms. Ruth Moody passed away early Thursday in Lexington. She was born February 9, 1938 in Perry County to the late Kent and Mary E. Barber Warren. She was a homemaker and a Church of Christ. Ms. Moody loved sewing, cooking, fishing, and taking care of her flowers. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Kenneth and Kyle Warren; and six sisters, Sarah Culbertson, Shirley Morgan, Bonnie Warren, Mary Gordon, Linda Walters, and Ann Frazier. Survivors include her sister, Olene Sharp and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 PM, Sunday, October 1, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Hare Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 11 AM – 3 PM.
