Funeral services for Ms. Ruth Martin, age 79, are scheduled for 4:00pm Monday, October 12,2015, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lexington Cemetery. Ms. Martin Passed away Friday in Jackson. She was born December 19, 1935 in Detroit, Mich. to the late Thomas Henry Barr and Emma Schwerin Barr. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl Martin, brother, Gordon Barr, and sister, Virginia Payne. Survivors include two sons- Daniel Edward Martin (Caryn) and Robert Carl Martin, two daughters-Rebecca Anne Owens (Charles) and Colleen Hardee (Michael), brother in law-Henry Martin (Carolyn), sisters, Carol and Eleanor Barr, 10 grandchildren- Melody Martin, Bethany Martin, Jason Rivera, Jennifer Rivera, Elizabeth, Stephen, Andrew, Sarah, and Joshua Hardee, and Talia Alley, four great grandchildren- Kaytlin, Sadie, Matthew and Tyler.
