Ruth Marie McDonald, 83, of Florence, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023. The graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18th, at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield with Ernie Emmons and Ralph Coleman officiating.
Ruth was a native of Sheffield and a member of Grace Baptist Church, Central. She was preceded in death by her husband, SSG Howard H. Love; father, Ernest Emmons, Sr.; and mother, Margery Adcock.
Ruth is survived by her brother, Ernest Emmons, Jr. (Marcia); niece, Rachel Longcrier; nephews, Ernest Emmons, III and John David Emmons; and good neighbors, James and Sandra Harvey.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
