Ruth Irene Welch Broadway, 86, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. Mrs. Broadway was born July 24, 1929 in Counce, TN. She was a member of Hubbard Salem Baptist Church; and was a retired nurse. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #126. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 12, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 13, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Joe Hardwick and Bro. Allen Osborn. Interment will follow in Hubbard Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeff Welch, Jim Welch, David Browning, Jeremy Browning, Robert Belue, and Dennis Dillard. Honorary Pallbearers include Lee Jordan and Tim Broadway. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include three sons, Charles P. Broadway, Jr. (Phyllis), Dwayne Broadway (Rita), and David Broadway (Sharon), all of Iuka, MS; two daughters, Norma Faye Johnson (Luther Ray) of Linden, TN, and Sandra Marie Jordan (Craig) of Tupelo, MS; seven grandchildren, Marecia Browning (David), Keith Broadway (Bruce Enlow), Timothy Broadway, Roseanna Bonds, Kristen Jordan, Lee Jordan, and Nickie Broadway; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles P. Broadway, Sr.; and a grandson, Chuck Broadway.
