Ruth H Franks, 85, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016, at The Meadows. She was born January 28, 1931 to the late Walter Hood and the late Lizzie Clouse Hood in Itawamba County. She was a member of Pine Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday November 6, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Minister Russ Crosswhite officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday November 5, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Sheila (Jimmy) Russell of Tremont, Sharon (Tim) Chaney of Fulton, Son, Steve Franks of Dubai, 8 Grandchildren, Stephanie (Scotty) Michael of Saltillo, Jacy (Kalin) Burcham of Corinth, McKenzie Chaney of Fulton, Athena Franks of Mexico, Sam (Jessica) Taylor of Fulton, T.J. (Micki) Chaney of Fulton, Tyler (Laurabeth) Chaney of Tremont, Ashton Franks of Dubai, 6 great grandchildren, Brother, Merle Hood of Guntown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Sister, Betty Williams, 3 Brothers, Roger Hood, Joe Hood, Buddy Hood, and a son in law, Donald Taylor.
