Ruth Gobbell Hill, age 86, of Ethridge, TN passed away Thursday, January 01, 2015 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, dairy farmer, and of the Church of Christ Faith. She was also a member of Flatwoods Church of Christ Ladies Bible Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hughie Berbin and Lena Clifton Gobbell; her husband, Roscoe D. Hill; one sister, Velva Ogle; and two brothers, H.B. Gobbell, Jr. and James W. Gobbell.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 04, 2015. Family suggests memorials be made to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
