Ruth Carolyn Minor, age 84, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016, in Gulfport, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Elton Minor; mother, Elizabeth Pearl Beckham Underwood; father, Robert Underwood; sister, Juanita Higdon; brother, David Underwood; and second husband, Herbert Barnett.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Robert Stephen Minor, Cynthia Lois (Ray) Grabarz, and Laurie Ruth (Christopher) Estes; grandchildren, Christopher (Allysa) Warren, Audrey (Jason) House, Jonathan Minor, Jake Estes, and Josh Estes; great-grandchildren, Lucas Eli House and Adeline Mae House; and sister, Lois Stephens.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, from noon to 2 p.m. at Chisholm Hills Church of Christ. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. with Brother Charles Abernathy officiating. Burial will be private.
