Graveside service for Ruth Bradley Puckett Sharp, 90, of Hartselle will be Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with Brother Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sharp passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 at her residence. She was born Nov. 27, 1925, in Morgan County to David Warren Puckett and Bessie Bradley Puckett. She was a dietician and cafeteria manager for many schools in Morgan County School System. She worked for the “now” Hartselle City School system and retired from the Hartselle Junior High School as cafeteria manager. Mrs. Sharp was a member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “A.C.” Sharp and son, Larry Sharp.
Survivors include three sons, David Sharp (Beth), Cullman, Doug Sharp (Jean), Houston, Texas and Brad Sharp (Jean), Hartselle; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hartselle First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
