Ruth Beasley Weir of Huntsville, AL was called home to be with The Lord in the early hours of Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born and raised in Vicksburg, Mississippi, the daughter of Ralph and Eva Loewenberg. As a young girl, Ruth would sometimes accompany her father to the service station he managed. She observed how polite and personable her father was with his customers, which left a lasting impression on her. Ruth loved people. Whether it was playing Bridge, attending events or just having a phone conversation, Ruth was passionate about building relationships. She never met a stranger and was always willing to go the extra mile to help someone. This was reciprocated by everyone around her, as her love for people was contagious. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, friend and fan of her beloved Auburn Tigers. Ruth was widowed twice, preceded in death by her first husband, George Beasley, and her second husband, Ernest Weir.
She is survived by her son, Loewen Beasley and his wife, Alison Beasley, of Huntsville, AL; her twin sister, Rachael Patterson of Pascagoula, MS; sister, Evonne Hudson of Sebastopol, MS; sister, Janice Howerton of Pike Road, AL and 34 nieces and nephews. Ruth will be greatly missed.
