Ruth Ann Barton, 85 of Corner, passed away Monday Oct. 7, 2024, at Ridgeview Health Care.
Funeral services will be held at 11 :00am Friday, October 11, 2024, at New Horizon Memorial
Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Ms. Barton was preceded in death by her parents Morris and Bama Cobb, brothers Bill Cobb, George Cobb, husband Lacy Barton, granddaughter Tiffany Sims and son in law Randall Sims
She is survived by a sister Betty Stano, son David (Lynne) Barton, daughter Tammy Sims grandchildren Matthew (Sabrina) Barton, Maria (Daniel) Gothard, Andrew Barton, Jacob Sims, along with eight great grandchildren, several cousins and a host of friends.
Ms. Barton was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed collecting nic-nacs and tending to her many treasured daylilies.
