Mrs. Ruth A. Johnson, age 91 of Empire passed away, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her residence. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Monday, at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Finis M. Johnson; parents, Doc and Berta Johnson; sister, Marrie Roberts; and brother, Wayne Johnson.
Survivors include her son, Ronny Johnson and his wife, Beverly; daughter, Tammie Murphree and her husband, Terry; grandchildren, Shunda Owens and her husband, Brian, Kevin Johnson and his wife, Danielle, Ashley Harris and her husband, Jody; great grandchildren, Adalyl Owens, Kade Johnson, Kole Johnson, and Anna Brook Harris; brother, Norris Johnson; sister, Linda Minarich; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Bozeman, Eric Pridmore, Brian Owens, Jason Jones, Kevin Johnson and Jody Harris.
