Russell Morris Terry, age 83 of Jasper, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his residence. He retired from Alabama Power in 1999.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. Hollis Alexander will officiate.
Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his Father-Luther Terry; Mother-Lula Brown Terry; Brothers-Lavert Terry, Preston Terry, Erskin Terry, Earnest Terry and Paul Terry; Sisters-Judy Cole, Virginia Harris and Margaret Ann Terry.
He is survived by his Wife-Patricia K. Terry of Jasper; Daughters-Julie Terry Stubbs (Otis) and Elizabeth Terry; Son-Russell M. Terry, Jr. (Rosemary Williams); Grandchildren-Lynda Abbott, Kalen Meshell, Rusti Anne Everett, Ashley Terry and Nicholas Terry; Great Grandchildren-Abbey Tucker, Allison Goodman, Alyssa Tucker, Drusilla Abbott, Lucille Meshell and Iris Meshell; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
