A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Russell L. Johnson, 69, will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Somerville Historical Cemetery with Geoff Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Johnson died on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born December 17, 1952, in Morgan County, to Aubrey Johnson and Orene Brown Johnson.
He was employed by UAB as an Accountant, prior to his retirement. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved his family dearly and also enjoyed fishing and Alabama Football.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers: Howard Johnson and Kenneth Lipscomb.
