Ruby Weaver Malone, 82, Muscle Shoals, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Dwight Rivers officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Iron City, TN.

Ruby was a member of Colbert Heights First Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her family, and she loved Jesus. She will be greatly missed. Ruby was preceded in death by her father, Gifford Weaver, Sr.; mother, Addie Mae Weaver; husband, William James Malone; daughter, Teresa Malone Long; and brothers, Hershel Weaver and James Carol Weaver.

Ruby is survived by her daughters, Glinda Malone McDougal (Phillip) and Lisa Malone Tatum (Dale); brother, Gifford Weaver, Jr. (Lois); grandchildren, Phillip “P.J.” McDougal, Jr., Adam McDougal, Dale Tatum, Jr., Angelica Long, and Scott Long; great-grandchildren, Brayden McDougal, Avery McDougal, Atticus McDougal, Adrian Welch, Tyler Welch, Lucy Long, and Damien Long; great-great-grandchild, Bentlee Wade McDougal; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Phillip McDougal, Jr., Adam McDougal, Scott Long, Dale Tatum, Jr., Brayden McDougal, and Avery McDougal.
