Ruby Mae Staggs, age 79, of Dresden,TN passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at AHC VanAyer in Martin,TN. She was a native of Hohenwald,TN, a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert James and Annie Becky White Kimmons; husband, Homer Coleman Staggs; seven brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by five children, Ruby Carson of Dresden, TN, Betty Skirvin of Red Bowling Springs, TN, Homer Staggs of Dresden, TN, Mary Harcrow of Lawrenceburg, TN, Karen Staggs of Dresden, TN; one brother, Charles Smithson of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Linda Bivens of Lawrenceburg, TN; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 31, 2024. Interment will follow at Barnesville Cemetery in Summertown,TN.
