Ruby Juanita HennesseeMcMinnville resident and Warren County native, Ruby Juanita Hennessee passed away October 01, 2023 at N.H.C. HealthCare in McMinnville of an extended illness, she was 93. Born on December 02, 1929, she was the oldest of seven born to the late Herbert and Maggie Romans Roberts. Mrs. Hennessee was a member of the Church of Christ. She lived a faithful, content, and Christian life.

 

She worked many years at the shoe factory Genesco and retired in 2010 from Wal-Mart. She was married to Jim Hennessee on July 11, 1961 who preceded her in death on March 15, 2002. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Hennessee was preceded in death by three brothers Ed, Howard, and Jerry Roberts, and three sisters, Evelyn Morgan, Wavie Herrin, and Laura Turner.

 

Mrs. Hennessee is survived by one son Brad (Tina) Hennessee of McMinnville, and one daughter Jennifer (Jeff) Carter of Rock Island, five grandchildren Lauren (Will) Sweeton, Brandon Hennessee both of McMinnville, Daniel (Rebecca) Carter, Matthew (Lauren) Carter, and Jacob Carter all of Rock Island, TN, sisters-in-law Barbara Roberts of Paris, TN, Francis Hale of McMinnville, and Maxine McCrary of Laverne, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

 

The family wants to extend a sincere thank you to all of her caregivers, niece Janie Nunley, Fanny B’s, and N.H.C.

 

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 07, 2023, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery in McMinnville. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
