Ruby “Joyce” Scott was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 17, 1946 the daughter of the late Cecil Alexander and Lou Jean Higgins Fox.
Ms. Scott was a floor supervisor for Brown Shoe Company for over 20 years. She attended Turkey Creek Union Church. Ms. Scott enjoyed gardening, flowers, and being around the lake and outdoors.
She departed this life on November 3, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 17 days.
Ms. Scott is survived by her children, Donna Sue Scott Wilkerson and her husband David of Savannah, Tennessee, Ronald Lynn Scott of Savannah, Tennessee and Donald Glen Scott and his wife Latisha of Savannah, Tennessee.
seven grandchildren, Josh Scott, Hailey Rainey, Lindsay Tucker, Rayna Talley, Dustin Wilkerson, Cameron Wilkerson and Little Cecil Scott
three sisters, Judy Balentine of Cypress Inn, Tennessee, Jane Jones of Savannah, Tennessee and Jackie Davison of Savannah, Tennessee
one brother, Ricky Fox of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Hassell, Rayburn, Jimmy and Joey Fox and one sister, Joan Boatwright.
Ms. Fox was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Billy Wayne Scott on March 26, 2009.
