Ruby Jean Tomlin Maxwell, age 81 passed away peacefully November 11, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a transportation aide with Williamson County School System where she assisted with special needs children. She loved to fish with her family. She enjoyed watching Nascar races. Ruby, “Granny” was a loving mother and grandmother and had a graceful smile that was loved by all. She was a member of Peytonsville Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, James M. Maxwell, Jr. Survived by: sons, James M. “Jim” (Paulette) Maxwell, Jeff (Rhonda) Maxwell and Jason Maxwell; daughter, Donna (Keith) Roberson; sisters, Ann Blythe Norfleet and Grace Glenn; grandchildren, Kyle Maxwell, Sam (Bethany) Maxwell, Amanda (Adam) Bogle, Justin (Kayla) Maxwell, Katelyn Maxwell, Crystal Roberson & Angie (Nathan) Williams; great grandchildren, Karley & Jace Maxwell, Madi & Sadie Bogle, Lane, Lacey & Luke Williams and Zaiden Maxwell. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Kyle, Sam & Justin Maxwell, Adam Bogle, Nathan Williams, Jerry & Joey Glenn, Randy Giles, Daryl Waggoner and Michael Ross Giles. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Mosley, Reba Polk, Brenda Borgman, Elaine Glenn, Debbie Caldwell, Peggy Cook, Jeff Stem and members of Peytonsville Methodist Church.
