Ruby Jean McLemore Brown, age 71, Russellville, Ala., passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at her residence.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Ala.; the 2 p.m. funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Brother James McCullar officiating. Interment will be in Spruce Pine Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ronald McLemore, Ricky Williams, Kelvin Brown, TJ Wilson, Joseph Brown, Johnny Strickland; honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Owens, Richard Cornelius.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Virginia McLemore; several brothers and sisters; granddaughters, Kara McLemore, Natasha Williams.
She is survived by children, Ronald (Sherry) McLemore, Ricky (Debbie Champion) Williams, Penny (Richard) Cornelius, Nancy Williams, Kelvin (Samantha) Brown; sister, Mary Lou (Tinker) Ables; grandchildren, TJ (Chrystal) Wilson, Joseph Brown, Chastity (Daniel) McLemore, Tasha (Michael) Conley, Tyler Owens, Johnny Strickland, Brian Preston, Jacob, Zachary and Anna Cornelius; great-grandchildren, Madison Conley, Landen Conley, Chloe Wilson, Serenidy Owens, James Randall Wilson; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Spruce Pine Church of Christ.
