Ruby J. Moore, age 82 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. She was born on March 18, 1941, in Tennessee to the late Morgan and Mammie Lou Hunter. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ruby was steadfast in her faith in the Lord and attended church when she was able. In her spare time, she enjoyed metal detecting and finding antiques. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Moore; and brothers, James and David Hunter. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Christy Diaz; son, Ray Hurt; sister, Shriley Bishop; six grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 1:00pm from the Roy B. Watson chapel of Watson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Watson Memorial Park.
