Funeral service for Ruby Bell Oden, 75, will be Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church with Bro. Tim Patrick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Turney Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Valhermoso Holiness Church.
Ms. Oden passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was born April 21, 1949, in Morgan County to Parrish Turney and Alta Beatrice Cryer Turney.
Ruby was a member of Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church. She was a humble and caring person and was a light of innocence and grace. She loved ice cream and riding around with her daughter, Amy. She was a loving mother and Nanny, that enjoyed iced coffee and Target trips with Jaylee. She passed away at her residence with her daughter and sister by her side. Ruby was employed by the Surgery Center of Huntsville, in the Medical Records, department prior to her retirement.
Her parents and a brother-in-law : Curtis Oden preceded her in death.
