Ruble Ladon “Don” West, 75, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born August 15, 1948, to Ruble and Beelah West. He was a member of Tupelo Fist Baptist Church. He also previously attended Monument Drive Baptist Church and Mount Sinai Baptist Church. Don was blessed with the craftsmanship of carpentry. He utilized his carpentry skills to serve the Lord by going on several mission trips throughout many different countries to build churches.
He is survived by his wife, Marie West; son, Joshua West; step-daughter, Kenna Hernadez (Hector); step-son, Kevan Owen (Shauna); and his brother, Micky West.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Diane Bailey.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring his life will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues, Tupelo with Dr. Michael Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Park.
