Rubert Wesley Posey age 90 of Athens, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Tut Fann Nursing Home. Mr. Posey was born March 28, 1924 in Lawrence County, AL to Aley Sylvester Posey and Genomia Gertrude Dempsey Posey.
Services will be Wednesday, January 14, 2015 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Posey served in World War II.
Survived by one brother, Herbert Posey of Athens; eleven nieces and nephews.
