We regret the passing of Ruanna Marie May, at the age of 61, who passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at her home.
Born on Monday, February 18, 1963, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late James Beall and Betty Pittman Beall. She was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband of 23 years, Jeffrey May.
Ruanna enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved listening to music and making people laugh with her one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
Mrs. May was preceded in death by both of her parents, one sister, Brigette Whitt, one niece, Hannah Gladden, one aunt, Lurleen Tetrault, two uncles, Melvin Pittman and Walter “Shorty” Pittman.
She is survived by her spouse, Jeffery May, three daughters, Lacey (Kirk) Bowling, Nicole (Jacob) Heard, Kaylee (Wesley) Wilburn, one nephew, Jesse Gladden, one uncle, John Pittman, eight grandchildren, Presley, Regan, Austin, Alivia, Baye, Journey, Oaklee, Walker.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 12:00 Noon. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Bro. Doug Colwell will be officiating the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
