Roy Wilburn Duncan, Jr. age 80, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Walker Baptist Medical Center, Jasper, AL. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Sulligent City Cemetery, Bro. BJ Mills to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday just prior to the funeral services from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Roy was born on October 4, 1943, in Jasper, AL, to the late Roy Wilburn Duncan, Sr. and the late Delia Terrell. He was a graduate of Sulligent High School. Roy previously worked as a machine operator and retired from 3M Manufacturing Company, Guin AL. He enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Roy was an avid Alabama Football fan. He enjoyed talking with and making others laugh. In his younger years he enjoyed being on the water. Roy was also very knowledgeable in and enjoyed playing card games. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
