Roy Prestley age 80 of Addison Al went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 22, 2024. Funeral will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 at 1:00pm at Bell Sumiton Chapel family will receive guest one hour prior to service. Burial will be at New Horizon Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. Bro. Jake Russell will be officiating.
He is preceded in death by his parents Henry Hugh and Ada Prestley, brothers and sisters; Bobbie, Clayton (Bud), Donald, Ruby, Carlene, Shirley, Bill, Edward (Red), Judy and Jimmy (Pete).
He leaves behind his loving wife best friend Margaret, son Scott (Michelle) of Morris, AL daughter; Tracy of Dora, AL son; Brent (Melissa) of Essex, MD grandchildren; Zachary, Matthew, Dylan, Tori, Emily and Melissa, great grandchildren; Charlotte, Zagan, Elijah P., Elizabeth, Kortnie and Elijah D. bonus great grandchildren; Damian, Beleth and Kannon, sister; Linda Snow. With a host of other family and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for doing such a great job and being more than just a hospice provider but have became family to us in this time of need.
