Roy Littrell, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, January 09, 2024, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, owner and operator of heavy equipment, and of the Baptist Faith. Roy enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, and working.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Dellie Jane Ball Littrell; six sisters, Clara Fincher, Nina Steadman, Edith Price, Florene Huntley, Polly Barnett, and Opal McMahan; three brothers, Fairless Littrell, Ray Littrell, and Okie Littrell; one daughter, Cynthia Adkins; and three grandchildren, Christopher Littrell, Aaron Littrell, and Telina Morris.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean “Woody” Littrell of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Anthony Littrell (DeAnn) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Amanda Smith (Casey) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Alisha Littrell of Rogersville, AL; nine grandchildren, Lydia Jacobs, Megan Littrell, Cade Serment, Cane Tucker, Logan Littrell, Amelia Owens, Hunter Adkins, Annlee Smith, and Anden Smith; eighteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his fur baby of 13 1/2 years, Jack.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2024, with David Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Houser Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
