Mr. Roy Lee Wayne Ford, age 58, of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Ford was born June 5, 1963, in Caledonia, MS, to the late Leon and Hortense Smith Ford. He was a painter, and was a member of the Vernon Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ford was also preceded in death by his grandson, Micah Montenegro; his brother, Jerry Leon Ford; and his sister, Annie Laura Manzilillo.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 10, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral, with Eddie Finch officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ford, of Vernon, AL; four daughters, Sheena Dison, Traci (Jarrad)Reese, Chelsea Ford, and Mia Ford; one son, Anthony Ford; five grandchildren, Hunter (Auna Spears) Dison, Harlie Dison, Brantley Reese, Landon Ives, and Karlie Reese; one great-grandchild, Blakely Dison; and a host of other family and friends.
