Roy 1Roy L. McAnally, 92, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his residence.

He served in World War II.

The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Glen Mayfield will officiate. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Allen McAnally; children, Laney McAnally, Wanda Downey (husband, Timothy); grandchildren, Ronald Shane Procter, Marian Denese DesRuisseaux; great-grandchildren, Bailey & Dustin; sister, Lula Mae Melton; several nieces & nephews; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Franklin McAnally; mother, Annie Bell Pierce McAnally; brothers, James McAnally, Tom McAnally, Mervin McAnally; sisters, Louise and Lee.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
