Roy Kenneth Steele, 81, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born in Lawrence County, TN to Ransom Marlin Steel and Aileen Atwell Steele on August 8, 1941. He was a member of Brewer Baptist Church. He was an avid Tennessee Fan, he enjoyed hunting and being with his hunting buddies and loved his family and friends dearly.
He is survived by three daughters, Sharon Williams, Karen Williams, and Tammie Williams; one brother, Tony Steele; two sisters, Nancy Johns and Linda Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Jared A. Williams, Brady Williams, and Whitney Williams; and two great grandsons, Jared Jr. Williams and Joey Williams.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Steele; and his parents.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Brewer Baptist Church. Funeral Service will follow at 12:30 pm at the church with Bro. Tim Tutor officiating. Burial will be Restview Cemetery in Loretto, TN. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted in the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be David Baskins, Terry Simons, Eddie McPherson, Tommy Lindsey, Joe Dye, and Robert Alan Godfrey
