Roy Edward Partin, age 76 of Estill Springs, passed away on February 11, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. He was born on June 28, 1947, to the late Lonnie Edward Partin and Mabeline Brown. Roy worked as an estimator at Woody’s Tree Service and in his younger years, also worked on cars. In his down time, his hobbies included: watching boxing and wrestling, watching Looney Toons and westerns, gardening, building things, and above all, spending time with his family. Roy will be remembered as a loving, generous man that was loyal to his family and friends with a strong “fighter” spirit. In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Partin. He is survived by his daughters, Anna (Roy) Cunningham, Stacy Steele; grandchildren, Felicia Partin, Samantha Dorsett, Terri Stephens, Amber Brimhall, Ryan Steele, Shelby Bush; fifteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Carter, Dorthy “Dot” Arthur, Barbara Lawrie, Johnny Partin, Danny Partin, Linda Partin; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 5pm-8pm at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday February 15, 2024, at 11am at Watson Funeral Home.
