Funeral for Roy Allen Hitt, 59, of Trinity will be Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hitt, who died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born February 17, 1955, in Lawrence County to Loyd and Olene Hitt. He owned Parkway Variety. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His mother preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Hitt; his son, Lucas Allen Hitt; daughter, Brandy Nicole Hitt; father, Loyd Hitt; stepdaughter, Allison Brooke Greer; one brother, David Hitt; two sisters, Susan Hitt and Evelyn McMurray; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
