Funeral for Ross Feline Newman, 83, will be Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Nicky Pressnell officiating. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Newman, who died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital, was born Nov. 22, 1932, to Lola Dale Harvey. He enjoyed flying remote control airplanes, riding motorcycles, and going to Tunica. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Newman; and mother, Lola Dale Harvey. Survivors include his wife, Mary Newman; two sons, Richard Newman and Mickey Newman; two daughters, Linda Montgomery and Martha Newman; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Kellen Montgomery.
