Mrs. Rosie Lucille Cheatham Taylor, 91, of Tuscumbia, passed away Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at her home. Her family will receive friends for visitation Thursday evening Aug.16, from 6-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Terry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Fannie Cheatham; husband, Olin C. Taylor; son, Cranford Taylor; daughter, Renay Johnson Tanner; and her brothers and sisters.
Rosie is survived by her sons, Carlon Olin Taylor (Paula) and Bradley Craig Johnson (Tina); daughter-in-law, Thelma Hodges (Walter); grandchildren, Trafton Taylor (Stephanie), Trenton Taylor (Melissa), Valissa Jeffreys (Letroy), Paedra Bruns, Justin Taylor (Beth) and Jeremy Taylor (Natasha); and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Littleville Church of Christ, Littleville Senior Center and Good Sam’s Club.
Pallbearers will be Trafton Taylor, Trenton Taylor, Letroy Jeffreys, Justin Taylor, Jeremy Taylor and Brent Head. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews and Danny Jones.
