Rosie Lee Hillis Thompson, age 96, of Huntsville, died on Saturday November 29, 2014.
Mrs. Thompson was a member of Five Points Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Thompson; her parents, Manuel and Betty Hillis; her granddaughter, Pamela Speck; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her children, Gail Birdsong, Frank Thompson and wife Teresa, Rodger Thompson and wife Kat, Roy Thompson and wife Sherry, Debbie Penney, and Don Thompson and wife Linda; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday December 3, 2014 at 1pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with Wayne Kimbrough officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on that day from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home.
