Rosie Jeanette Lepard Winter, 83, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Born on August 21, 1941, in Pontotoc, MS to Everett and Betty Rowzee Lepard. Jeanette was a 1960 graduate of Pontotoc High School and then married Bob Winter on October 20, 1961. She was a bookkeeper for several businesses, working at Pontotoc County Justice Court until her retirement. She was a faithful member of The Church of God of Prophecy all of her life. She was a strong Christian woman and her family’s prayer warrior.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Bob Winter, her daughter, Judy Barkley (Charley), her son, Marty Winter (Kris), her 4 grandchildren, Krista McCreight (Brent), Steven Huffstatler (Marlana), Ryan Winter (Kara Beth), and Reid Winter (Destiny), and her 7 great grandchildren. She loved the Lord and her family unconditionally.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Betty Lepard, her brothers, Edward and Gene Lepard, and her sister, Frances Graham.
Services will be Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11AM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Billy Joe Finley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5th 5-8PM and Thursday, March 6th 10AM until service time all at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Burial will follow in Pontotoc City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steven Huffstatler, Ryan Winter, Reid Winter, Brent McCreight, Leslie Wilder, and Kevin McGregor.
