Rose Mary McGehee, age 65 of Belvidere, passed away on August 16, 2024, at her residence. She was born in Franklin County on June 3, 1959, to the late Earl C. Marshall and Betty Lou Stephens. She had previously worked at Tepro as a batch bond. She loved computer games, card games, cross stitch, reading, and playing pool. Rose loved all kinds of animals and loved watching Fox News. She was a strong willed, sweet, good hearted woman. In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her brother, Howard Marshall. She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years, James McGehee; daughter, Elizabeth McGehee; sister, Elaine Brown; brothers, John Marshall, Stanley Marshall; sister-in-law, Shelia Marshall; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at Watson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 3:00pm from the Roy B. Watson Chapel with Bro.
