Rose Marie Anderton – Obituary

Mrs. Rose Marie Anderton 80, of Arab, died Wednesday July 5, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Anderton was born January 10, 1937 in Marshall County to John B. Bittinger and Josephine Sophia Kratochville Bittinger. She worked as a cosmetologist until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Anderton is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Olisa Sophia Medlock and David, Sherri Vanessa King and Steve; her grandchildren: Chase and Julia King, Alexandra and Kris Anderson, Avery King, Hunter Medlock, Grace Fleming , Rachel Medlock and her great grandchildren: Camryn and Collins King and Whitmore Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband: William Seburn “Shorty” Anderton, her son: William Lanny Anderton; her parents: John and Josephine Bittinger; her sisters: Evelyn Hochstetler, Eustine Dyar, Florence Mitchell and Dorothy Reeves.
She was a member of Arab First United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday July 7, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Rev: Steve West, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Kris Anderson, Steve Dyar, Chase King, Steve King, David Medlock, and Hunter Medlock.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday July 7, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
