Rose Allison White, 72, of Florence, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, July 11, 2024 surrounded by her husband, daughter, and sister in law. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held, Saturday, July 20, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM at Valley View House of prayer. The memorial service will start at 2:00 PM with her Uncle Larry Burbank officiating.

She was known for her cooking and fed the people of Central, Oakland, and Waterloo areas for many years. She was most proud of her award-winning catfish. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Darnell and Earl Allison; brothers, Jerry and Donald.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jimmy White; daughter, Alison Cook (Scotty); grandchild, Georgia Anne Bratcher (Kagen); brother, Steve Allison( Juanita); numerous nieces and nephews; lifetime best friend, Jackie May.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at NAMC for their outstanding care, and Gentiva Hospice.
