Rosa Pearl Lewis, age 88, of Scottsboro passed away at Highlands Medical Center on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Funeral services will be held at Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Randy Wooden, and Rev. Brett Hogland officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Burial will in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her children: Randy (Nancy) Lewis of Huntsville, Sandra (Mike) Stein, Gary (Kenya) Lewis, Tanya (Jason) Dolberry all of Scottsboro. Grandchildren: Tracy (Michael) Silas of Harvest, Alan (Crystal) Stein, Adrienne (Dustin) Farmer all of Scottsboro, Sierra (Sam) Partridge of Birmingham, John Austin Dolberry, and Bella Lewis of Scottsboro. Great Grandchildren: Nathan Silas of Harvest, Chance Stein and Sheyanne Stein of Scottsboro, Braylin Farmer and Alayzah Farmer of Scottsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years James Hoyt Lewis. A daughter in law Shirley Lewis, a brother Ray Swafford and a sister Faye Burton, parents Kelly and Ina Swafford. She leaves behind a host of family and friends. A very special friend Annie Wray. Two wonderful caregivers Christy Scarberry an Myra Maness.
